every southerner should do. Number 16 on the list is to stand on the
top of ROAN MOUNTAIN at the Rhododendron Gardens, in Roan Mountain,
Tennessee.
 All our Cabins are close to
Roan Mountain State Park which offers a swimming pool, tennis
courts, and hiking trails.
The Appalachian Trail is close by
and several hundred miles of trout fishing streams are within a 30 mile
radius. White water rafting on the Watauga River is only a few
