Hydrangea Cottage is our
latest project and our friends tell us that it's our best effort
yet.
At almost 100 years old, we've left the best of another era and
added a completely new kitchen, another full bath, a new fireplace,
and heat and air.
Hydrangea Cottage has 3 bedrooms...one with a queen size bed, one
with a full bed, and up a stone stairway, a third with 2 built in
twin beds. In addition, the living room sofa is a queen sleeper.
6 to 8 can sleep comfortably.
The all new kitchen is
fully equipped for cooking and has dishes and flatware for 8. There
is a dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker, smooth top
oven/stove, icemaker, washer/dryer, mixer and blender. |
The dining room table seats 6 and the living room features a wood
burning stone fireplace (firewood is on the back porch) and a flat
screen TV with DVD/VCR and cable with 20 channels. Another TV with
VCR/cable is in the upstairs bedroom.
There are two full bathrooms,
one with a bath/shower and the other with a Jacuzzi tub.
The back porch is a great
place to have morning coffee, or read. And sitting on the front
porch is a wonderful way to relax and listen to Cove Creek across
the street.
